Job Description: Marketing Coordinator Position Overview: The Marketing Coordinator would meet with all the program managers and key program staff to review existing promotional material. In consultation with staff they would start to design marketing materials and develop strategies as to how to best present MetroWorks to the community. They would oversee the creation and production of all materials and work closely with any third party agencies that would be involved. Qualifications: Relevant training in the area of marketing and promotion from a recognized post secondary program. Essential skills: Experienced with a variety of computer applications related to marketing and promotions. Ability to work independently. Position Duties: · Work with key staff to gather information regarding all of MetroWorks activities. · Design and layout brochures and information flyers using current design software. · Design comprehensive marketing packages, one targeted to referrers, one for individuals, and one for the business community. · Research print and television ad space, design print ads, and work closely with graphic artists and design professionals. · Develop layouts for posters, banners, signage for special events and other promotional activities. · Work with printers, graphic artists and design professionals to get promotional materials ready for presentation. · Create a display board and the power point presentation. · Cost television and radio ad space and production costs. · Oversee the printing and design process, checking for errors. · Develop a marketing strategy for the organization to best promote MetroWorks programs and services to our various stakeholders. · Other related duties associated with developing a comprehensive marketing strategy.
